Foot Mobilisation
Be pain-free with our Foot Mobilisation Therapy
Foot Mobilisation Therapy (FMT) is one of them. It’s a manual therapy that improves the function and alignment of the foot through gentle manipulation.
How Foot Mobilisation Therapy works
Our Podiatrists use FMT to pin point the underlying issue causing your foot pain. We assess each bone and joint individually for misalignment, stiffness or dysfunction, and gently manipulate the foot to allow your body’s own natural healing to align your foot posture. This gives you a strong foundation to reduce any further injury.
What problems can FMT treat?
Our Podiatrists use FMT combined with carefully curated exercises to accelerate the healing process and reduce pain and inflammation of the foot. Some situations where FMT can help are;
- Ankle sprains
- Achilles’ tendon pain
- Aching balls of feet
- Instability
- Heel Pain
- Plantar Faciitis
- Bunions
- Inflammation
- Toe deformities
- Stiff joints
- Improve orthotic therapy
- An alternative to orthotics
- Hammer and Claw Toes
- Arch Pain
- Mortons Neuroma
